Android Developer – Native Kotlin/Java (Sydney)

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin, Java, XML and Jetpack Compose.
• Apply MVVM and MVI architectural patterns and dependency injection to create scalable codebases.
• Integrate Firebase services such as Analytics and Crashlytics, and implement CI/CD pipelines and unit tests.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams using Git and GitHub, adhering to modularization principles.
• Participate in delivering solutions for Australian enterprises while leveraging TCS’s global expertise.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in native Android development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java with solid UI design skills using XML and Jetpack Compose.
• Demonstrated ability to architect applications using MVVM and MVI patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD processes, unit testing, and Firebase frameworks.
