Aluminium Plant Operator – Entry Level

About the role

Join the Bell Bay Aluminium Smelter team as an Operator and start a rewarding career in aluminium production. No prior experience is required – you will receive full training and support while working in a safety‑focused, team‑oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate cranes and mobile plant equipment safely.
• Assist with process control and monitoring of production lines.
• Participate in casting hot metal and related manual tasks.
• Support operational departments to ensure safe, sustainable aluminium output.
• Work collaboratively within a strong, supportive team.

Required profile

• Commitment to personal and team safety.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage workload autonomously.
• Willingness to perform labour‑intensive duties, work at heights and in hot environments.
• Flexibility to work 12‑hour shift rosters, including days and nights.
