Advanced Healthcare Implementation Engineer

About the role

Solventum is seeking an Advanced Healthcare Implementation Engineer to design, deliver, and support secure integrations between Solventum solutions and customer healthcare systems. The role involves working closely with customer IT teams, EMR vendors, and third‑party providers to ensure successful implementation and go‑live.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable integrations using HL7, FHIR, APIs and other interoperability standards.
• Conduct technical discovery to understand customer environments and translate requirements into implementation approaches.
• Configure Solventum solutions to meet operational and clinical needs while following best practices.
• Lead validation, testing and go‑live readiness activities, supporting issue resolution and deployment.
• Serve as an escalation point for technical issues, driving root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years implementing, integrating, or supporting healthcare technology solutions.
• Experience working directly with customer IT teams, technical stakeholders and third‑party vendors.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• HL7 v2.x, FHIR, API integration.
• Experience with EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Oracle Health, Cerner, Altera, Meditech.
• Interface engines and integration platforms.
• SaaS deployments, cloud‑hosted solutions, networking fundamentals, identity management concepts.
