Active Directory Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Active Directory Specialist to provide 24/7 operational support for both production and non‑production AD environments in Sydney. The role involves troubleshooting performance issues, managing changes, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure the stability of our directory services.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and resolve AD infrastructure performance issues across PROD and NON‑PROD environments.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate change activities with relevant teams.
• Perform health checks, incident triage, and root‑cause analysis using tools such as Splunk and SIEM.
• Manage AD objects, sites, subnets, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and Azure AD user/group provisioning.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to L1 support staff.
• Document incidents, changes, and restoration procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Windows Server (2008‑2019) and Active Directory administration.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a willingness to work 24/7 shifts.
• Experience in ITIL processes (incident, change, problem management) and ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Remedy.
• Self‑motivated, team‑oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines.
