Active Directory Engineer – 24/7 Support

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Active Directory Engineer to provide 24/7 operational support for both production and non‑production AD environments. The role involves troubleshooting performance issues, handling incidents, and coordinating changes across multiple stakeholders, primarily supporting Australian business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and resolve performance issues in Active Directory infrastructure.
• Provide 24 × 7 shift coverage for AD production and non‑production environments.
• Perform health checks, incident triage, and root‑cause analysis using tools such as Splunk and SIEM.
• Configure and maintain Windows Domain services including DNS, DHCP, GPOs, site topology, and trust relationships.
• Manage Azure Active Directory objects, user/group provisioning, and application onboarding.
• Execute change management processes, coordinate with stakeholders, and document modifications.
• Support L1 team members through coaching and incident escalation.
• Handle domain controller promotion/demotion, DFS share management, and AD object restoration.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work a 24 × 7 shift schedule.
• Experience in IT infrastructure management within the banking domain is a plus.
