Account Executive – SaaS Sales

About the role

Litmos, the Learning Acceleration Platform that combines an intuitive platform, AI-powered capabilities, trusted content, expert services and integrations, is looking for an Account Executive. The role identifies and qualifies new logo prospects through inbound leads and outbound prospecting, builds the sales pipeline and closes deals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new logo prospects through inbound leads and outbound prospecting
• Create and manage prospecting initiatives to generate qualified opportunities and build the sales pipeline
• Run high-level consultative conversations with core audiences via video conferencing or phone
• Follow up on leads, research potential prospects in defined territories and verticals, and identify key buying influencers to understand budget and timeline
• Develop proposals, respond to RFPs and deliver online and in-person sales presentations
• Maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects sufficient to meet monthly, quarterly and annual quotas
• Navigate complex executive-level negotiations and close sales opportunities
• Build trusted cross-departmental relationships with colleagues and customers

Required profile

• Proven sales hunter with a track record of quota success (2+ years)
• SaaS software sales and solutions sales experience
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or an IT-related discipline
• Experience in a multichannel go-to-market model
• Coachable, accountable, able to act as a trusted advisor and work independently with strong results drive

Required skills

• Strong prospecting and qualification skills
• Needs diagnosis, storytelling, objection handling and closing
• Working knowledge of a sales methodology such as Challenger, Miller Heiman or Empire Selling
• Ability to manage territory and pipeline within Salesforce
• Analytical, organizational and written and verbal communication skills
• LMS experience is a plus
