Account Executive - CMMS/CAFM Software

About the role

A global software leader in asset and facilities management software, headquartered in the UK, is recruiting its first Account Executive in Australia. The role reports directly to the UK and covers a well-established territory across Australia, New Zealand, Thailand and the Philippines. It is a remote position with autonomy, and the recruiter is contracted through Ludtec.

Key responsibilities

• New business development: identify, nurture and close opportunities in manufacturing, food and beverage, education, healthcare and utilities.
• Existing customer management: support current clients migrating from on-premises to SaaS solutions and build trust.
• Strategic market growth: collaborate on marketing, attend trade shows such as Australian Manufacturing Week, and help expand the company in Australasia.
• Product training and support: host product demonstrations, deliver training sessions and help customers get the most value from the software.

Required profile

• Proven software sales experience, especially in new business development for SaaS or enterprise software.
• Familiarity with engineering, manufacturing or asset management is a bonus; able to talk to technically minded clients such as maintenance engineers and facilities managers.
• Comfortable with technical topics such as preventative maintenance, asset lifecycle and compliance standards.
• Self-starter who can work autonomously, manage a territory and think strategically.
• Strong communication skills, presentation skills and ability to navigate complex sales cycles.

• Salary of $110,000 to $125,000 base plus superannuation, car allowance and uncapped commission.
