About the role

Parade College is seeking a passionate and qualified Teacher of English and Humanities for Years 7‑12. The successful candidate will join a vibrant Catholic learning community that values holistic development and academic excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging English and Humanities lessons for secondary students.
• Foster critical thinking, problem‑solving and responsible citizenship in the classroom.
• Contribute to the pastoral care and wellbeing of students in line with the Edmund Rice tradition.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and curriculum enhancements.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in professional development activities.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification and registration to teach in Victoria.
• Demonstrated experience teaching English and/or Humanities at secondary level.
• Strong organisational skills and a commitment to Catholic education values.
• Ability to inspire and support diverse learners.
