About the role
The Storeperson will manage inventory at our FIFO site in Port Hedland, ensuring accurate stock control, timely order processing and excellent service to staff and visitors. You will be part of the wider Inventory and Supply Chain team, supporting cost‑effective procedures and operational needs.
Key responsibilities
- Receive goods, store them appropriately and process sales/orders promptly.
- Enter received stock into the inventory system and maintain accurate records.
- Follow supply‑chain procedures to ensure consistency across depot operations.
- Assist staff and visitors with depot yard/store processes and respond to call‑outs.
- Process returns, issue credits and keep material/equipment registers up‑to‑date.
- Maintain tidy stockpiles, monitor quantities and recommend actions for under‑utilised stock.
- Facilitate testing and tagging of portable electrical equipment and keep records.
Required profile
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Forklift licence.
- Computer literacy.
- Approximately 2 years experience as a Storeperson or in a similar inventory role.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
