Social Media Manager

About the role

Peeple is looking for a creative Social Media Manager to lead its online presence as the company prepares to launch its casual‑job platform in 2026. This hybrid position is based in Sydney with the flexibility to work remotely part of the time, allowing you to collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams while shaping the brand’s digital voice.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and optimise social media strategies across all major platforms.
• Plan, create and curate engaging content that aligns with Peeple’s brand and marketing goals.
• Manage day‑to‑day activity on social channels, including posting, community interaction and moderation.
• Monitor performance metrics, generate reports and adjust tactics based on data insights.
• Collaborate with marketing, product and design teams to ensure cohesive campaign execution.

Required profile

• Proven foundation in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO).
• Strong written communication and storytelling abilities.
• Experience in branding and community building on social platforms.
• Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment and work effectively with diverse teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field is an advantage.
