Site Manager - Tier 2 Builder, $350M Commercial Project

About the role

A commercial builder specialising in education, health, sports, industrial, data centre and commercial projects up to $350M is looking to add a Site Manager to its team, sitting under an experienced Senior Site Manager. The role offers ownership of part of a large-scale project while still receiving on-site support.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all sub-contractors and manage the quality of finishes
• Use leadership and organisational skills to hit project targets
• Ensure programme measures are met and keep the client up to date
• Supervise and manage the project through to completion
• Produce regular reports on time, cost and quality
• Work closely with subcontractors to drive the programme
• Build positive relationships with external stakeholders, suppliers and contractors
• Provide excellent customer service during handover and the defects phase
• Manage WH&S requirements under the relevant legislation and company systems

Required profile

• Experience managing or supervising commercial projects
• Proven track record delivering projects over $50M
• 3-5 years as a Site Manager or General Foreman
• Good tenure at previous employers and a strong reputation with sub-contractors

• Keen eye for detail and ability to manage quality
• Effective communication and ability to drive programme
• Positive attitude and right temperament
