Service Technician – Overhead Cranes

About the role

Konecranes is seeking an Industrial Electrician/Service Technician to join its team in Canning Vale, WA. You will work on a variety of overhead cranes and hoists, delivering inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs, modernisations and breakdown support across multiple customer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections on various makes and models of standard cranes.
• Carry out independent repair, field modernisation and installation tasks.
• Source required parts from the Konecranes store and provide standard repair solutions.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns, diagnose faults and execute repairs.
• Apply Konecranes safety, risk assessment procedures and Australian Standards.

Required profile

• Electrical Licence or Mechanical Trade Certificate with Restricted Electrical Licence.
• Current, valid Driver Licence.
• Working at Heights competency and Elevated Work Platform Ticket.
• Broad knowledge of relevant Australian Standards.
