Service Advisor

About the role

Splend is a rideshare-focused vehicle ownership company that is also transitioning its fleet to electric vehicles. As Service Advisor, you will be the bridge between customers and the workshop, assessing vehicles, building quotes, recommending additional work where it is genuinely warranted and guiding each job through to a smooth handover. The role combines trust with commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Generate accurate, transparent quotes using the pricing schedule and agreed markup.
• Review vehicle condition, mileage and service history to identify and recommend additional work, balancing revenue with honesty.
• Keep customers informed at every stage, from initial quote through to completion and payment.
• Issue accurate invoices and process payments in line with what was agreed.
• Confirm that work meets the agreed scope before vehicle release and ensure safety recommendations are evidence-based.

Required profile

• A background in a dealership, workshop, parts or similar customer-facing automotive role.
• Strong customer service and negotiation skills, able to hold commercial conversations without losing trust.
• A sales style built on transparency, recommending work only when it can be justified.

Required skills

• Comfort working across quoting, CRM and invoicing systems.
• Solid working knowledge of vehicle servicing and common wear items.
