SEO Analyst Internship (Sydney)

About the role

Search It Local is seeking a motivated SEO Analyst Intern to join its Sydney office for a 3‑to‑6‑month paid internship. You will gain hands‑on experience supporting real client campaigns while learning the fundamentals of search engine optimisation, content strategy, and digital analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to inform optimisation strategies.
• Assist with on‑page SEO projects, including meta‑tag updates and content recommendations.
• Perform website audits and identify technical SEO opportunities.
• Monitor site performance using SEO and analytics tools.
• Support link‑building and local SEO initiatives.
• Prepare performance reports and track campaign metrics.

Required profile

• Strong interest in SEO and digital marketing.
• Currently studying or recently graduated in Marketing, Communications, Business, IT or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
