Senior Software Engineer (iOS)

About the role

Domain, part of CoStar Group, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (iOS) for its Property Research App team, which builds the native app giving consumers insights about property. The role shapes the technical direction of the team, partnering with Team Leaders and senior technology leaders to set roadmaps and priorities, and provides technical leadership, architecture patterns and coaching to engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the technical direction of the squad so solutions are scalable, resilient and aligned with technology strategy.
• Lead the design and implementation of architecture patterns and own the health and performance of services.
• Champion engineering excellence through testing, documentation, code quality and continuous improvement of SDLC practices.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and lead innovation initiatives.
• Mentor and coach engineers and partner with cross-functional teams on technical alignment and knowledge sharing.
• Act as a technical advisor, guiding delivery, risk management and business-focused decisions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing native iOS applications, with a track record of scalable mobile solutions.
• Experience delivering major mobile features in high-performing teams and building customer-facing or enterprise apps in Agile environments.
• Demonstrated mentoring experience and proven collaboration with Product, Design and Engineering stakeholders.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in Swift, iOS SDK, SwiftUI, UIKit and modern patterns such as MVVM, VIPER or TCA.
• Mobile performance optimisation, testing, REST/GraphQL APIs and microservices-based architectures.
• Git, CI/CD pipelines, accessibility standards and mobile best practices.
