Senior Project Engineer - Residential Development

About the role

A well-established Tier 2 builder is looking for an experienced Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer to join a major residential and mixed-use development in Sydney's inner suburbs. The project includes 400+ apartments with a substantial structure and finishes scope, and the builder has a strong pipeline of secured projects across Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate key construction packages across structures and finishes
• Oversee design coordination, RFIs, technical queries and documentation
• Work with the Project Manager and site team to keep programme milestones on track
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and key project stakeholders
• Assist with procurement, cost management, variations and forecasting
• Ensure works meet programme, quality and safety requirements
• Identify and resolve technical and construction challenges during delivery

Required profile

• 5+ years' experience with a Tier 1, 2 or 3 head contractor
• Proven experience delivering large-scale residential or mixed-use projects, ideally $100M+
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
• Commercially aware, organised and confident in a fast-paced project environment
