Senior Human Resources Advisor

About the role

This senior HR advisory position operates on a Drive‑in‑Drive‑out 4:3/4:3 roster, allowing close collaboration with site management while leading HR improvement and capability projects within the mining sector.

Key responsibilities

• Provide practical HR advice and support to line management across a broad range of employee matters.
• Manage generalist casework including performance management, employee relations, grievances and basic disciplinaries.
• Review, develop and improve HR processes, procedures and ways of working.
• Develop and facilitate training initiatives to strengthen line‑manager capability.
• Analyse workforce data, prepare reports and identify trends for decision‑making.
• Contribute to broader HR projects, change initiatives and continuous‑improvement activities.

Required profile

• Strong HR generalist experience with case‑management exposure.
• Experience developing or improving HR processes, procedures and systems.
• Confidence delivering training or capability initiatives for line managers.
• Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting HR data and producing reports.
• Clear communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and contemporary HR practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR information systems and data analysis tools.
