Senior Cloud & DevOps Engineer Analyst

About the role

Accenture is looking for a Cloud & DevOps Engineer to help design, automate and support modern cloud and container platforms. Working alongside security, operations and engineering teams, you will contribute to scalable, reliable infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, CI/CD and cloud automation practices. The role is based in the Sydney office and involves managed services, where you maintain and improve clients' IT systems.

Key responsibilities

• Build and automate cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Deploy and support Kubernetes-based platforms and containerized applications.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
• Monitor platform health, performance and availability.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment and platform issues.
• Implement security, compliance and DevSecOps practices.
• Collaborate with development, operations and security teams to deliver reliable technology solutions.

Required profile

• Experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering or automation.
• Australian citizenship with an active security clearance, given the secure nature of the role.
• Willingness to work all 5 days from the Sydney office.
• Flexibility to work in shifts and to be on call for incident response and after-hours deployments.

Required skills

• Kubernetes and container technologies such as Docker.
• Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi or CloudFormation.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or Argo CD.
• Scripting in Python, Bash or similar.
