About the role
We are a high‑growth technology vendor expanding rapidly across APAC and looking for a founding Sales Development Representative to target enterprise accounts in Australia and New Zealand. This role will help shape our sales development function and offers a fast‑track path to leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct proactive outbound outreach to key stakeholders within target accounts using cold calls, SMS, email, LinkedIn and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Partner with the Growth team to research accounts and craft highly personalized messaging.
- Contribute to the definition and improvement of sales processes, outreach strategies and team playbooks.
- Own a monthly pipeline generation target and consistently meet it.
- Progress to an SDR Lead role within 3‑6 months, with responsibility for hiring, onboarding and training additional SDRs.
Required profile
- 1‑2+ years of experience as an SDR in a hyper‑growth SaaS start‑up or scale‑up.
- Proven track record building and executing outbound sales campaigns in a complex SaaS environment.
- Experience selling to senior technology and marketing leaders such as CTOs, CIOs, CDOs or CMOs.
- Based in Australia, preferably in Sydney or Melbourne.
