Sales Consultant – Luxury Furniture Retail

About the role

Nick Scali is seeking a passionate Sales Consultant to join its showroom team. You will combine instinct, empathy and commercial acumen to help customers realise their design visions while exceeding personal sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver emotionally aware customer service that builds loyalty and repeat business.
• Engage customers through storytelling to help them envision their dream space.
• Identify new sales opportunities and close deals confidently and consistently.
• Maintain accurate sales records and ensure timely processing of all customer orders.
• Collaborate with the Showroom Manager to uphold high presentation and merchandising standards.

Required profile

• A natural hunter with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to build rapport quickly.
• Experience in consultative, solution‑based selling.
• Proven success closing high‑value sales in furniture, luxury goods or similar categories.
• Energetic, self‑motivated, adaptable and organised, especially during high‑traffic periods.
