Risk and Compliance Partner (12-Month Max Term Contract)

About the role

Crown Resorts is strengthening its risk and compliance culture through its Risk & Compliance Champion Program and is seeking a Risk & Compliance Champion Lead/Partner to own this enterprise-wide initiative and embed a strong first-line risk culture. Reporting to the General Manager, Compliance & Regulatory Affairs, you will be the main contact for Risk & Compliance Champions across Crown Melbourne and work with business leaders and risk teams on the rollout and effectiveness of the program. This is not a traditional compliance or assurance role: you will act as facilitator, coach and trusted advisor.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation and ongoing embedment of the Risk & Compliance Champion Program
• Lead and facilitate regular Champion forums, workshops and engagement sessions
• Provide guidance, coaching and practical support to Champions across multiple business units
• Deliver training, awareness initiatives and capability uplift activities
• Act as liaison between business stakeholders and second-line risk and compliance functions
• Monitor program effectiveness, report against key success measures and identify improvements
• Promote best-practice risk and compliance management principles
• Help users use Archer and other GRC systems and drive timely completion of key activities

Required profile

• Experience leading or supporting enterprise-wide risk, compliance, governance or capability programs
• Ability to engage, influence and build relationships with senior stakeholders
• Degree in a relevant discipline such as Business, Commerce, Law or a related field
• Background in risk, compliance, governance, operational risk or management assurance

Required skills

• Facilitation and communication, including leading workshops, forums and training sessions
• Developing and delivering risk and compliance frameworks, training programs and supporting materials
• Exposure to GRC systems, ideally Archer
