Resident Experience Lead

About the role

Summerset is seeking a Resident Experience Lead for its new village in Cranbourne North. You will shape a welcoming, connected and engaging environment for residents living in independent villas, assisted living and care, ensuring lifestyle, wellbeing and meaningful experiences are at the heart of everyday life.

Key responsibilities

• Design monthly and weekly activity calendars tailored to resident interests and wellbeing.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families and the wider community.
• Partner with local organisations, entertainers and providers to create meaningful experiences.
• Lead, coach and support the Resident Experience and Lifestyle teams.
• Facilitate resident feedback sessions and use insights to continuously improve programmes.
• Support residents as they transition into the village, ensuring their preferences are understood.

Required profile

• Natural people leader with a passion for creating memorable experiences.
• Thrives in a fast‑paced environment, thinks creatively and engages confidently with residents, families and teams.
• Genuine interest in supporting older people and enhancing their wellbeing.

Required skills

• Experience in lifestyle, activities or event coordination, preferably in aged care or community settings.
• Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Strong organisational and planning abilities.
• Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification or willingness to obtain.
