Render Operator – Full Time

About the role

Australian Country Choice is seeking a motivated Render Operator to join its Rendering Department at the Cannon Hill processing facility. This hands‑on position ensures by‑products are safely transformed into high‑quality tallow and meal while upholding strict safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor rendering equipment and related processes.
• Assist in the production of tallow and meal to meet quality and output targets.
• Maintain compliance with HACCP, GMP, WHS, and all site safety procedures.
• Promote a strong safety culture by reporting hazards and issues.
• Operate forklifts and perform safe material‑handling tasks.
• Support waste‑minimisation and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Identify and report mechanical or process irregularities.

Required profile

• Current LF Forklift License with proven experience.
• Previous experience in rendering, co‑products, or meat‑processing operations (preferred).
• Strong technical understanding of rendering processes or willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, WHS, and environmental regulations.
• Mechanical aptitude and good problem‑solving skills.
• Reliable, team‑oriented, and safety‑focused.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts if required.
