Registered Nurse – Silverdale Family Doctors

About the role

Doctors and Co. is looking for a qualified Registered Nurse to join the Silverdale Family Doctors team. You will work closely with physicians and support staff to deliver comprehensive, patient‑centred care in a busy general practice environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take vital signs, record health histories and administer medications.
• Provide immunisations, injections and triage assessments.
• Manage wounds, chronic disease programmes and perform ECGs.
• Explain procedures, offer support and reassurance to patients.
• Assist with care plans, shared health summaries and telehealth consultations.
• Support doctors during clinical procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
• Coordinate treatment‑room activities, including stock control, sterilisation and equipment maintenance.
• Implement infection‑control practices and assist with reception and practice‑management duties.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration and Working with Children clearance.
• Valid police check, First Aid/CPR certificate and immunisation record.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team‑oriented attitude.
• Experience in an accredited General Practice setting.
• Strong sense of urgency, professionalism and ability to multitask.
