Registered Nurse – Operating Theatres

About the role

The position is based at Concord Repatriation General Hospital, a leading public health facility serving the local community. As a Peri‑operative Instrument Circulating Nurse you will provide patient‑centred care within a multidisciplinary surgical team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the care of patients throughout surgical procedures, ensuring safety and compliance with clinical standards.
• Manage and circulate surgical instruments, maintaining sterility and supporting the surgical team.
• Participate in rotating rosters and on‑call duties as required.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Demonstrated understanding of evidence‑informed practice, critical thinking and person‑centred care.
• Commitment to NSW Health Core Values and full working rights in Australia.

Required skills

• Advanced peri‑operative nursing skills, specifically in instrument circulation.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and adapt to rotating schedules.
