Registered Nurse – NDIS Care (Perth, WA)

About the role

Purple Heather is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its NDIS care team in Perth, WA. The position can be full‑time, part‑time or casual and focuses on delivering high‑quality nursing care to individuals participating in the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration and health monitoring.
• Develop, implement and review personalised care plans aligned with participants' NDIS goals.
• Educate participants and their families on health management and self‑care strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure holistic service delivery.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.

Required profile

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia.
• Strong clinical competence in patient care, medication administration and health monitoring.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with participants, families and health teams.
• Organisational ability to manage records and care plans.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Experience working with people with disabilities or within the NDIS framework is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with healthcare technology or patient management systems (beneficial).
