Registered Architect (Queensland)

About the role

Petrie Architects is looking for a Queensland‑registered architect to lead the design of bespoke homes, childcare centres and commercial projects. You will take projects from concept through to construction, working closely with a small, collaborative studio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop concept and detailed designs for residential and commercial projects using Revit.
• Lead the design process on each assigned project.
• Prepare construction drawings and detailed construction documentation in Revit.
• Design and document apartments and architectural houses.
• Collaborate within a small, supportive team environment.

Required profile

• Proven industry experience with strong Revit capabilities.
• Ability to manage projects from inception to completion, including documentation.
• Deep understanding of the National Construction Code (NCC) and Australian Standards.
• Registered with the Board of Architects Queensland.
• Excellent document control and the ability to review your own and others' work.
