About the role
We are seeking an experienced receptionist to join our busy orthodontic practice located in the iconic Orthodontic Tower in Melbourne’s CBD. The role is the first point of contact for patients and supports both the clinical team and administrative functions.
Key responsibilities
- Greet patients in person and on the phone, delivering warm, friendly, and professional service.
- Schedule and confirm appointments using the Orthotrac orthodontic software.
- Process HICAPS claims and manage basic patient accounts.
- Liaise with practitioners and patients to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Perform data entry, reporting, and other administrative tasks as required.
Required profile
- High level of initiative and motivation.
- Previous experience in a dental or orthodontic environment is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask and work efficiently in a fast‑paced setting.
- Professional appearance and a warm, mature demeanor.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Orthotrac software.
- Experience processing HICAPS claims.
- Data entry and basic administrative skills.
