Project Quality Manager

About the role

Worley is seeking a Project Quality Manager to lead quality performance on a major mining project in Australia. The role involves overseeing quality assurance and control across all project phases within an EPCM environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Project Quality Management Plan and assurance tools aligned with project risk, contractual requirements and EPCM strategy.
• Lead quality implementation across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning, and manage supplier and contractor quality documentation.
• Monitor and report quality performance using KPIs, conduct incident investigations and lead quality reviews and governance meetings.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives, mentor quality professionals and contribute to quality capability development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Science, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Certified Internal or Lead Auditor for ISO 9001.
• Significant quality management experience on complex mining projects, including supervisory and technical leadership responsibilities.
• Proven experience delivering quality outcomes within an EPCM project environment across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning phases.
