Production Team Member

About the role

ASSA ABLOY is seeking a Production Team Member to join its Hendon manufacturing site. You will be responsible for producing high‑quality timber and metal components for commercial applications, operating machinery safely and following strict health‑and‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review product manuals and documentation to understand assembly processes.
• Use hand and power tools to shape, trim, and size materials.
• Operate assembly machinery to build large products and press, trim, or shape material.
• Record and report defective goods and ensure compliance with company policies and legislation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by caring for tools, equipment, and storage areas.

Required profile

• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read technical drawings, plans, and measurement tools (tape measure, pressure gauge, level, square).
• Strong focus on work health and safety and attention to detail.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities.
