Production Operator – Chemical Manufacturing

About the role

Join allnex as a Production Operator in Wacol, Brisbane, and help run our automated reactor systems that produce high‑performance coating resins. You will work from the control room and the shop floor, ensuring safe, efficient operation of plant equipment while supporting quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated reactor systems from the control room.
• Load reagents into reactors using pumps and hatches.
• Maintain pumps, mixing vessels, dispersers, reactors, filtration and packing equipment.
• Complete batch documentation, logs and checklists accurately.
• Follow operational procedures and safety standards at all times.
• Conduct quality‑control testing of finished goods.
• Work with significant autonomy to run chemical manufacturing processes.

Required profile

• Forklift licence.
• Willingness to work a rotating shift roster, including overtime.
• Strong housekeeping focus on quality and systems.
• High initiative and proactive attitude.
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 kg and perform manual tasks.
