About the role
The Adelaide Film Festival is looking for a dynamic Production Coordinator to support the planning and execution of its festival events. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and Event Producer to ensure smooth venue operations and effective coordination of production elements.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate production elements for all festival events and supervise venue operations during the festival.
- Manage casual staff rostering and liaise with venue staff to ensure seamless execution.
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the Operations Manager and Event Producer.
- Prepare production schedules, event runsheets and briefing documents using the festival’s software systems.
- Oversee equipment and vehicle logistics and ensure technical requirements are met at each venue.
- Maintain compliance with occupational health and safety regulations throughout all production activities.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a production coordinator or stage manager in events and festivals.
- Experience negotiating with production suppliers, handling quotes, purchase orders and budget tracking.
- Strong organisational abilities and capacity to work under pressure in fast‑paced live‑event environments.
