Paralegal – Recoveries (Perth)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Paralegal to join the Recoveries team within our Insurance practice in Perth. You will support a fast‑paced litigation environment handling unpaid claim recoveries, disputed liability matters and credit correction cases.

Key responsibilities

• Draft correspondence and court documents for Magistrates Court matters.
• Liaise with clients, insurers, courts and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Review and analyse claim files and supporting documentation.
• Assist in preparing and progressing matters through the Magistrates Court.
• Communicate with clients and insured parties to obtain instructions and provide updates.
• Support settlement processes and manage case files.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a paralegal or legal support role, preferably in insurance or litigation.
• Understanding of, or interest in, Magistrates Court processes.
• Strong drafting ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to handle a high volume of files.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident engagement with clients and external parties.
• Proactive, self‑motivated approach.
