Operations Finance Manager

About the role

JBS Pork Australia, Australia's leading integrated agri-food company, is seeking an experienced Operations Finance Manager to lead its Finance Business Partnering team. The role is based in either Port Melbourne (VIC) or Corowa (NSW) and covers financial governance, controls, compliance, working capital performance and operational decision support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Finance Business Partnering team, building a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Provide financial leadership and commercial insights to support strategic decisions, operational performance and profitability.
• Ensure strong financial controls, governance and compliance, including SOX requirements, internal controls and audit readiness.
• Drive working capital performance through cash flow management, inventory control and process optimisation.
• Lead finance systems, process improvement and transformation projects, keeping financial data accurate across SAP, CSB and related platforms.
• Manage and support cross-functional finance projects and promote a safe, compliant workplace in line with WHS policies.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
• CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Significant experience in operational finance, business partnering or manufacturing finance.
• Leadership experience managing finance teams.
• Experience leading internal and external audit processes.

Required skills

• Sound understanding of financial controls, governance and SOX compliance.
• Knowledge of inventory accounting and working capital management.
• Advanced financial analysis and reporting.
• ERP experience, particularly SAP, and understanding of system integrations and data integrity.
• Project management, stakeholder management and strong communication and influencing skills.
