Nurse Manager – Bed Manager (Grade 3)

About the role

Join Sydney Local Health District Mental Health Services as a Nurse Manager (Grade 3) responsible for coordinating access, demand and patient flow across the Concord Centre for Mental Health. You will work within the Demand Management Team to ensure timely inpatient care and support trauma‑informed, patient‑centred services.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate access, demand and patient flow for a diverse mental health service portfolio.
• Support timely access to inpatient care and facilitate effective clinical decision‑making.
• Contribute to safe, efficient, patient‑centred care in line with NSW Ministry of Health policies and performance benchmarks.
• Lead staff, manage performance issues and resolve conflicts as they arise.

Required profile

• Current registration with AHPRA.
• Recent management experience in a relevant clinical setting, supported by a tertiary management qualification or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and highly developed communication skills.
