National Account Manager - Corporate Grocery

About the role

A high-growth global FMCG business with a well-established brand in personal care and beauty is recruiting a commercially driven National Account Manager in Melbourne. The role takes ownership of the Coles and Woolworths accounts across the business, working closely with the wider commercial team to drive growth across Australia's leading grocery retailers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop customer strategies for Coles and Woolworths
• Manage ranging and distribution
• Deliver revenue and margin targets and drive promotional and commercial outcomes
• Lead customer negotiations, joint business planning, promotional calendars, forecasting and commercial reviews
• Identify opportunities to increase distribution, strengthen the portfolio and unlock incremental growth

Required profile

• Experienced National Account Manager with a strong FMCG background
• Proven experience managing Coles and/or Woolworths
• Strong understanding of the retail landscape
• Commercially astute, customer-focused and able to engage confidently with senior retail stakeholders
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strong analytical capability and appetite for growth
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and turn strategy into execution
