Medical Affairs Associate

About the role

This 12‑month fixed‑term position joins a growing Medical Affairs function within a leading Consumer Health organisation. You will work closely with Medical, Regulatory, R&D, Marketing and Product Development teams to provide scientific and regulatory input from development through to market launch.

Key responsibilities

• Assess promotional and advertising materials for scientific accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate scientific and clinical evidence, develop claims substantiation and maintain evidence files.
• Provide scientific and regulatory input across product development, formulation changes, claims and market readiness, translating complex information into clear recommendations.

Required profile

• Experience in Consumer Health, Regulatory Affairs, R&D, Scientific Affairs or Medical Affairs.
• Proven ability to assess scientific evidence, claims or promotional materials in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing skills and a pragmatic, solutions‑focused approach.

Required skills

• Understanding of regulatory and scientific requirements for Consumer Health products.
• Excellent critical appraisal and communication abilities.
• Ability to translate complex scientific and regulatory information into practical recommendations.
