Manager, Asset Performance & Improvement

About the role

The Manager, Asset Performance & Improvement will join Aurecon’s Asset Management and Performance team in Sydney, delivering asset management consulting to public and private sector clients across a range of projects.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver asset management consulting projects for diverse clients.
• Develop internal tools and intellectual property to support the AM&P team.
• Identify and shape new project opportunities.
• Prepare client proposals, including value propositions, methodologies and budgets.
• Build and nurture meaningful relationships both internally and externally.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for re‑imagining asset performance.
• Exposure to heavy industry (water, resources, oil & gas) and/or the defence sector.
• Understanding of asset management principles or a background in an engineering discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects or work packages.
• Experience leading and motivating diverse teams, from early‑career professionals to subject‑matter experts.
• Strong communication skills for engaging clients and stakeholders.
• Comfort working with uncertainty and ambiguity.
