Linen Assistant

About the role

We are looking for reliable Linen Assistants to join a busy healthcare laundry operation across multiple Canberra locations. You will process linen through industrial machines, sort and organise items, fold and stack linen, and prepare items for distribution while maintaining hygiene and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate industrial laundry equipment such as washers, ironers and folding machines.
• Sort, organise, fold and stack linen items efficiently.
• Prepare linen for distribution to healthcare facilities.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform repetitive physical tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting.

Required profile

• Availability between 7 am‑7 pm, Monday to Saturday (including public holidays).
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Physically fit, reliable and able to follow structured procedures.
• Ability to pass a criminal history check and pre‑employment medical assessment.

Required skills

• Operating industrial laundry machines.
• Use of washers, ironers and folding equipment.
• Physical stamina for repetitive tasks.
