Lead Auditor

About the role

BevChain, a subsidiary of Linfox, is looking for a Lead Auditor to run a national audit function across its subcontractor network. The role ensures compliance with Chain of Responsibility, remuneration, regulatory and contractual obligations in a complex transport environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and remuneration audits across subcontractors.
• Verify compliance with HVNL, Fair Work and ATO requirements through reasonable enquiry.
• Identify non‑conformances, drive timely closure of audit actions and provide clear assurance to the business, customers and regulators.
• Deliver pre‑audit education on compliance expectations.
• Maintain accurate audit records and produce regular compliance reports.
• Partner with Compliance, Safety and Operations teams to ensure consistent national outcomes.
• Support customer and regulatory assurance through strong audit governance.

Required profile

• Formal audit qualification (mandatory).
• Proven experience in remuneration auditing, including reviewing payslips, payments and hours worked.
• Knowledge of Fair Work Australia requirements and evidence standards.
• Experience auditing within transport, logistics or heavy‑vehicle environments (highly regarded).
• Understanding of CoR obligations under HVNL (advantageous).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce evidence‑based audit reports.
• Confidence working independently and engaging with stakeholders.
