Junior Accountant – Client Management

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Accountant who is eager to grow into a senior position. You will manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring deadlines are met, communication is clear, and clients are delighted with our service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and lodge BAS, ITRs and financial statements for assigned clients.
• Run review processes on BAS and ITRs before sending to clients.
• Assist with tax planning preparation and support senior staff in VCFO and management reporting meetings.
• Draft responses to client queries for senior accountant approval.
• Track weekly utilisation and proactively communicate workload capacity.
• Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures and system improvements.

Required profile

• Not a graduate but committed to developing accounting expertise.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Proactive communicator who can collaborate with senior accountants and managers.
