ICT Systems Administrator (H/M)

About the role

Vinci Energies Australia supports Perimeters and Business Units across Australia, working with local teams, business stakeholders, VESI, suppliers and technology providers to deliver secure, reliable and modern technology services. It is looking for an experienced ICT Administrator to strengthen its ICT team. The role combines Level 2 and Level 3 support with infrastructure, networking, Microsoft cloud, cybersecurity and project delivery, with a strong focus on delivering and managing ICT projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced Level 2 and Level 3 support, investigate incidents and resolve complex technical issues.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams telephony services.
• Support servers, storage, backup, endpoint management and business-critical technology platforms.
• Maintain switching, wireless, internet, WAN, cloud connectivity and SD-WAN environments.
• Monitor service performance, identify operational risks and coordinate remediation.
• Perform escalated user lifecycle and access administration.
• Support vulnerability management, patching, system hardening, backup validation and security monitoring.
• Contribute to infrastructure, business technology, acquisition onboarding and technology integration projects.
• Work with business stakeholders on automation, approved AI and service improvement.
• Coordinate with managed service providers, telecommunications providers and technology vendors.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, SOPs and knowledge articles.

Required profile

• Experience in an ICT Systems Administrator, Systems Administrator, Infrastructure Support or similar position.
• Demonstrated Level 2 and Level 3 troubleshooting and technical support capability.
• Practical experience administering or supporting Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure environments.
• Experience across server, storage, backup, endpoint and network administration.
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity practices, including patching, vulnerability management, system hardening and backup validation.
• Ability to manage competing priorities while contributing to projects and continuous improvement.
• Clear written and verbal communication, with strong technical documentation skills.
• Collaborative, proactive and service-oriented approach; VINCI Group experience.
