About the role
Amentum is seeking an experienced specialist in communications and data networks to support Integrated Air and Missile Defence (IAMD) C2 capability projects. The role involves producing, reviewing, updating and managing project documentation and artefacts.
Key responsibilities
- Produce, review and maintain IAMD C2 capability project documentation and supporting artefacts.
- Engage with Defence stakeholders, prepare technical reports, briefs and decision‑support material for senior audiences.
Required profile
- Demonstrated experience supporting IAMD, systems engineering and integration within the Australian Defence Force or a comparable defence environment.
- Experience with capability definition, requirements development, options analysis and technical assessments within the ADF Capability System.
Required skills
- Knowledge of Command and Control (C2) systems, Combat Management Systems, Tactical Data Links and Defence networks.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, architecture development, interface definition and interoperability analysis.
- Cyber‑security expertise and a Bachelor degree in Electrical or Software Engineering.
