Grid Project Manager

About the role

GE Vernova is looking for a process-driven Grid Project Manager to lead complex grid infrastructure projects across the ANZ region. The role connects customers with international factories, delivering high-voltage switchgear and equipment with end-to-end accountability, from taking over from the tender team through to final delivery, site commissioning and the warranty period.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee project lifecycles and ensure strict adherence to safety, financial and quality standards.
• Act as the main interface for customers, managing contract terms, expectations, drawing approvals and Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs).
• Coordinate with global factories and local subcontractors on imports, logistics and delivery schedules.
• Identify risks early and implement decisive mitigating actions.
• Own the project P&L, including billing, cash collection and claim management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Project Management.
• Strong technical knowledge of grid products such as GIS, AIS, circuit breakers, disconnectors, power transformers and substation systems.
• 3-5 years of project management experience in high-value infrastructure or utility environments.
• Solid grasp of contract administration and stakeholder management.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, SAP and Microsoft Project.

Working across different time zones, so monitoring, reading and responding to contact outside normal working hours is expected. Relocation assistance is not provided.
