Graphic Designer

About the role

Berry Street Yooralla, a non-profit supporting Australians with a disability and those experiencing poverty, violence and abuse, is looking for a Graphic Designer in Melbourne (Wurundjeri Country). The role creates digital, print, social media and marketing visuals and acts as a brand guardian, ensuring all communications reflect the brand and its values. It is a full-time, permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and revise design briefs.
• Create design assets across digital and print channels, including major fundraising appeals and marketing initiatives.
• Act as brand guardian, providing branded assets and keeping the brand consistent across digital and print.
• Develop engaging content that strengthens brand identity and drives engagement.
• Manage multiple projects to deadlines with attention to detail.
• Keep up with design trends and ensure work follows brand guidelines.

Required profile

• Demonstrated graphic design experience with a portfolio of digital and print work.
• Strong understanding of design principles, branding, typography and visual storytelling.
• Initiative, creativity and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organised, able to handle several priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience maintaining brand consistency across communication channels.
• Motion graphics, video editing, UX/UI design or digital content creation experience is highly regarded.
