Graduate Accounting Program 2027

About the role

BlueRock, a multi-disciplinary accounting firm based in Melbourne, is recruiting final-year or recently graduated accounting students to join its Graduate Accounting Program. The program is a full-time permanent position starting early January 2027, with the team working closely with business owners, entrepreneurs and start-ups on advisory solutions and tax accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements (BASs, IAS, FBT returns) and income tax returns for small business clients (companies, trusts, partnerships)
• Support Directors with financial modelling, tax planning and consulting projects
• Review taxation notices and prepare correspondence on behalf of clients
• Liaise with the ATO
• Attend client meetings with the team and learning and development sessions
• Work with other teams to find collaboration opportunities

Required profile

• Final year of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a similar discipline
• Full working rights to work in Australia
• Interest in pursuing further accounting qualifications such as CA
• Enthusiastic, positive attitude and great ambition
