Fulfilment Centre Manager – Alexandria

About the role

SKUTOPIA is seeking a Fulfilment Centre Manager to lead its highly automated Alexandria micro‑fulfilment centre. You will own the end‑to‑end operation, from inbound to outbound, drive the site P&L, ensure safety, and deliver merchant‑facing outcomes in a fast‑growing, purpose‑driven company.

Key responsibilities

• Drive day‑to‑day operational performance of the Alexandria fulfilment centre and potentially future sites.
• Champion workplace health and safety, own WHS obligations, conduct risk assessments and embed a safety‑first culture.
• Maintain customer‑obsessed standards, ensuring on‑time dispatch, put‑away SLA, stock transfer and exception handling.
• Optimize cost‑to‑serve, manage AutoStore grid performance, and hold automation vendors to SLA.
• Oversee inbound flow, container and pallet scheduling, and put‑away throughput.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to inform WMS roadmap and onboarding strategy.
• Recruit, roster, onboard and develop warehouse staff, fostering retention and growth.
• Plan and execute peak periods such as BFCM, aligning labour, storage and dispatch capacity.
• Partner with senior leadership to embed environmental best practices.

Required profile

• Strong experience leading fulfilment or warehouse operations in a high‑growth, 3PL or large retailer environment.
• Proven ability to recruit, roster and retain both casual and permanent warehouse staff.
• Demonstrated ownership of workplace health and safety, including risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Hands‑on, problem‑solving attitude with a drive to get things done.
• Comfort with data analysis, dashboard reading and making informed decisions.

Required skills

• Experience with automated warehouse systems (e.g., AutoStore) and WMS platforms.
