Electrical Supervisor – FIFO (Pilbara, WA)

About the role

Wabtec’s Digital Intelligence Signaling & Systems team is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead a crew of electricians on FIFO projects in the Pilbara region. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will ensure electrical installations for signalling and trackside infrastructure are completed safely, on schedule, and to design specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the electrical installation team.
• Conduct on‑site pre‑start meetings, plan installation tasks, and liaise with safeworking personnel.
• Maintain health, safety, and environmental standards; complete required safety documentation.
• Identify and escalate issues, update engineering drawings, and support testing & commissioning.
• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and punch‑list activities.

Required profile

• Valid WA Electrical Licence (mandatory).
• Level 1 Track Safety Induction and Rail Industry Worker Card.
• Construction Card and current driver’s licence with willingness to travel to remote WA sites.
• Willingness to undertake or hold a Certificate IV in Rail Signalling.

Required skills

• Electrical installation and commissioning for rail signalling systems.
• Interpretation of engineering drawings and red‑line updates.
• Safety compliance and documentation for high‑risk environments.
