Driver Trainer – Safety & Compliance (NSW)

About the role

Supagas is looking for a motivated Driver Trainer to deliver safety‑focused, compliance‑driven training across its New South Wales sites. Based in Sydney, you will work closely with the Learning & Development Manager to promote professional driving practices and support operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and assess training programmes for new and existing drivers, emphasizing safety and regulatory compliance.
• Review and update training materials to reflect legislative, operational and industry changes.
• Conduct training needs analyses and design tailored learning solutions to close skill gaps.
• Maintain training documentation, competency profiles and monitor employee progress.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to foster continuous learning and operational improvement.
• Track and report training outcomes in the LMS, ensuring data accuracy.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering driver training, preferably in transport or related industries.
• Ability to mentor drivers and provide safety‑focused instruction.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or working towards it.
• HR Driver Licence; MC Driver Licence is highly regarded.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.
