Document Controller

About the role

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES), a process engineering consulting and contracting company serving the mining and mineral processing industries, is looking for experienced Document Controllers to join its Brisbane CBD team. You will oversee the maintenance and distribution of project deliverables, keeping records accurate and safe and maintaining the document management system efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain project deliverables using the document management system
• Carry out QA/QC checks so deliverables meet client requirements and company standards
• Ensure controlled distribution follows the distribution request form and company procedure
• Support project teams and generate document status reports
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders so information flows efficiently and records are captured properly

Required profile

• At least 3 years' experience in a Document Control role within an engineering consultancy
• Previous experience with vendor documents is desirable
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with many stakeholders and competing priorities
• Full and unrestricted Australian working rights; applicants must live in Perth or Brisbane

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of electronic document management systems and the Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with QDMS, Aconex and/or InEight is advantageous
• Keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills
